The Original Mad Scientist

About a week ago I had this sudden Tesla kick. It was like I couldn't get enough of the guy. I mean, he's the original mad scientist: Death rays earthquake machines, the radio. Dude had it all. And if he hadn't died of mysterious circumstances, we'd probably have free, wireless electricity being beamed into our homes (I kid you not, the guy had found a way to use the Earth's vibrational frequency to create electricity).

Then, just a few days ago, I was bored with my MySpace wallpaper but couldn't find anything that I thought would make a suitable replacement. So I figured I'd make one myself. But what to use as a background subject, I wondered.

Then it dawned on me: Wouldn't it be bad-ass to have a Nicola Tesla wallpaper.

Yes, I am dork-ish enough to think those thoughts.
